Ready to make a splash with the Greenbelt Municipal Swim Team?! Register your swimmer for our upcoming summer swim season that begins on Tuesday, May 26. There are a few things you need to check off your list before the first practice.

• If you are new to the team, email us for next steps.
• If you are a returning swimmer, please register.
• Attend one of our MANDATORY parent orientations on Tuesday, May 26 at 4:30pm or Wednesday, May 27 at 5pm. The meeting will be held in the poolside classroom inside the GAFC facility next to the vending room.
• Volunteer for tasks during our summer competition season, including but not limited to set up and clean up at home meets, concessions, timers, ribbon writer, canopy master, stroke and turn judge, water runner, special events coordinator, and more! Each family is required to volunteer and obtain the required points or will incur a $75 penalty fee. It takes a lot of human resources to run a meet each week!

Once you are registered, you will be invited to join our team communications channels, GMST Google Group, and GroupMe. Practices will be held Monday through Thursday from 4:25 – 5:55. We’re very excited to welcome our swimmers back for our Fall, 2025 program. We will be moving INDOORS again, to the newly renovated GAFC pool, and we will be offering the Developmental program again!

Practices will begin on Tuesday, October 14th and run through Sunday, December 14th, when we will hold our Time Trials mock meet. Practice times will depend on age group, but will generally be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:25-5:55PM and Sundays from 7-8:45AM.

We will hold an Open House on Thursday, October 2nd, from 4:25-5:25PM to meet our coaches and have swim tests. If your swimmer is new to the team, we ask you to have them participate in a swim test on this date BEFORE registration. We will have informational parent meetings on October 14th (first day of practice) and October 19th.
